Hybrid or full remote teams?

Entrepreneurs often ask me the following question: should I build a HYBRID team or go FULLY REMOTE?

Answering this question is crucial, especially during the early stages of a company, as any organizational change becomes more complex when ingrained habits are involved.

But I'm not entirely sure the question should be framed this way. Let me explain 👇

👉 In France, we are witnessing an increasingly prominent hybrid trend, with teams combining remote work and in-person collaboration, while fully remote teams are relatively rare and sometimes met with skepticism.

👉 Ask your teams for their input and carefully weigh their responses against the advantages and disadvantages of a fully remote team, including:

Advantages:
- A broader talent pool. You can recruit individuals from different locations.
- No need to commute daily. Say goodbye to time wasted in traffic jams!
- Lower costs for office space rentals.

Disadvantages:
- Lack of face-to-face communication. Some conversations are simply easier in person.
- Less team cohesion. Cultivating company culture becomes more challenging at a distance.

👉 Are you operating in an industry where it's crucial to set your team apart from the norm?

Because companies that stand out attract the best talents and the most loyal customers.

And let's be honest, who wants to be just "normal"?

In conclusion, is a FULLY REMOTE team always an option? It depends on your company, objectives, and company culture.

But one thing is certain, if you want to be noticed in a constantly evolving work landscape, you must be willing to think and work differently.

I hope this has sparked some thoughts!
